First Snow!

It snowed today and she just had to go out and see what was going on! She loved the snow but it was just too windy here in Troutdale. Little stubborn monster that she is refused to keep mittens on her hands and was done when her little hands got too cold. We will have to take her out and try again if the wind dies down before it melts away!

Santa 2008

All the cousins went to see Santa at Macy's downtown and had a great time! No one cried and we all got some good pictures. Krystiana was more confused than happy I think, but seemed to enjoy Santa and all the reindeer.

Halloween 2008

The weather could not have more perfect for this halloween night! No rain and warm night...Krystiana and Shaylee walked around the neighborhood. Krystiana was dressed as a cow and Shaylee went as a bumble bee. They loved walking by themselves! They are getting so big! Krystiana got a little scared as people opened the doors, but was no longer shy once the candy bowl appeared. Once she figured out that the little boxes of candy would shake and make noise we ended up with a bag full of milk duds and nerds candies!

Sunriver 2008

All the cousins took a trip to Sunriver in Bend this summer. We had a blast! We rode bikes around the park, played on the playground and went swimming. The weather was beautiful.

Krystiana's 1st Birthday!

We had so many family and friends over for Krystiana's 1st birthday. She loved seeing all of her friends and had a great time opening all of her presents. When it was time for the cake, I think she was a little worn out. She was not happy about getting her hands dirty and wanted nothing to do with her cake. With so many new toys she just wanted to get back to play time.

Playtime!

We got a pass to OMSI and Krystiana loves to play in the sand...It took some getting used to having sand on our hands but now she loves it! Her new favorite toy is the cell phones...if you happen to get a strange text message you know where it probably came from! We also like to climb into the toy box and just play with the toys inside the box...less cleanup for mommy so we'll let this one go as long as she still fits inside.

Bathtime Fun!

Krystiana loves her bathtime! Even the kitties are getting in on the fun. She is figuring out how fun it is to splash everyone. Most of the toys end up on her head or in her mouth...such a strange child.

10 months!!

It is hard to believe that Krystiana is 10 months old already! She definitely has a lot of personality!

Rhonda Spring Break Visit

Aunt Rhonda came to visit during spring break and we had a blast! We went and visited friends and family and just hung out and played with the babies. Krysiana warmed up to her Aunt really quickly and they played all week long. It was really sad to see her go back home but we hope to see her again soon.

Goats!

My friend got three baby goats and we thought it would be fun for Krystiana to play. She was a little scared at first but it didn't take long before she was having a great time. They didn't run away from her like the kitties do...she was loving it.

7 months old!

This has been a busy last couple of weeks! We have learned how to crawl and pull up to standing! We thought we had more time to sit and play with toys...but Krystiana has never been one to be happy sitting still. We are now chasing her around the house. The kitties have taken to hiding (as you can see in one of the pictures). Working on getting a video on the blog of her crawling but am having some technical issues...it will be coming soon.

6 Months Old!!

Krystiana is getting big so fast. She sits up all by herself and is trying to crawl...kinda. She has discovered her voice and has become very vocal. Most days she will talk to anyone who is around to listen. If there is a mirror around she will talk to herself. Everything goes into her mouth...most recently her toes. She loves to sleep with her kitties near by and play with them as long as they will put up with the abuse.

My first Christmas 2007

We had a great Christmas with lots of new clothes and loud toys! Tracy, Heidi,Caden, Weldon, Tanna and Shaylee all came over to help open presents. I think we liked the wrapping more than anything else. It even snowed for us on Christmas day, which is a very rare occasion for us here in Portland.
